MEMBERS: Below message from Chairman Ware
After a presentation by the Tax Department, we will revisit three issues discussed at our October meeting: modernization of tobacco taxes, real property tax exemptions for charitable organizations, and tax benefits for veterans and military personnel. As Chairman Ware mentioned, he hopes the Subcommittee will reach agreement, and vote on, a recommendation to the General Assembly for each issue.
With that in mind, the Chairman asked that you please spend some time thinking about what recommendations you'd like the Subcommittee to make.
