House Education House Education Summit - Dec 9th & 10th - Fairfax 12/09/2019 12/10/2019 12:30 PM Offsite Address Barbara Teague, House Committee Operations, 804-698-1543 Delegates, We are pleased to formally invite you to the 2019 Virginia Education Summit. The 2019 Summit will be hosted jointly by the House Education and Senate & Health Committees focusing on education policy topics from early childhood to post-secondary education and the workforce. Members of the House Appropriations & Senate Finance Committees are invited to attend as well. The Summit is once again co-hosted by The Hunt Institute and will provide members of invited committees with opportunities to engage in constructive conversations with leading experts and practitioners from around the Commonwealth and country. The Summit will highlight policy opportunities and needs across the education continuum through panel discussions and breakout sessions intended to elevate education in Virginia. The Summit will begin on Monday, December 9th at 12:30 PM on the campus of George Mason University (Fairfax) and will conclude on December 10th at 12:00 PM (campus of NVCC (Annandale). You will receive additional program information and a detailed agenda in the weeks ahead from our partners at The Hunt Institute.
