**There has been a change to the Danville, location.**
The School Facility Modernization Subcommittee of the Senate Committee on Local Government will tour several schools Wednesday, August 15.
The tour will start at 9:00 AM at G.L.H. Johnson Elementary School, 680 Arnett Boulevard in Danville. From there members will tour Langston High School, 228 Cleveland Street in Danville at 9:45 AM. Members will then meet at 1:00 PM at Christiansburg Elementary, 160 Wades LN, Christiansburg, VA 24073 followed by a tour of Christiansburg High School, 100 Independence Blvd, Christiansburg, VA 24073.
The third tour will take place at 3:45 PM at Craig County Public Schools, 25239 Craigs Creek Road, New Castle, VA 24127.
These tours are in addition to the Subcommittee meeting August 16 at the Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center, Solitude Room, 901 Prices Fork Rd. Blacksburg at 10:00 a.m.
