  • Notes: The Senate Committee on Education and Health will meet jointly with the House Committee on Health and Human Services and the House Select Committee on Advancing Rural and Small Town Health Care on September 9 and 10, 2026. Members will meet at Augusta Health Farm in Fishersville starting at 12:00 p.m. on September 9. The committees will be touring several health care facilities in Fishersville. On September 10, members will tour several health care facilities in Harrisonburg, starting at 9:00 a.m. Due to HIPPA regulations, the tours will not be available to the public on either day. A public meeting of the Select Committee on Rural Health will be held at the JMU College of Health and Behavioral Studies Building in room 5040 on Thursday, September 10 at 1:00 p.m. The agenda is attached.
